I’ve been coming back to River Junction several times this year, and I have to say they’ve completely turned things around. A few years ago—and even during Covid—I wasn’t impressed with the service and found myself exploring other options. However, my recent visits have been nothing short of amazing. The menu pricing is spot on, and the waitstaff are consistently excellent. The food is prepared from scratch, bursting with flavor, and the portions are generous—truly great value for your money. One of the best features is the setup for large groups; whether you’re coming with 10 or 15 people, everyone gets served at the same time, making it perfect for gatherings. It’s clear they’ve taken past feedback seriously and made significant improvements. I’m happy to award River Junction a full five stars!

If you haven’t eaten here yet, you are seriously missing out! This local gem has hands-down the BEST pizza, pasta, and dinner options in town. Everything is always fresh, hot, and full of flavor — you can tell they actually care about their food and the people they serve. The pizza is loaded with toppings and baked to perfection, the pasta tastes like it came straight from an Italian kitchen, and their dinner options are comfort food done RIGHT. Every single meal we’ve had has been amazing. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the staff is friendly, and the portions are more than worth it. This is one of those places that makes a small town feel special. We’ll keep coming back again and again — and bringing friends with us! Support local. Eat here. You won’t regret it!

Casual laid-back spot, fantastic pizza. Drinks are good. Mix the IPA and the cider together, it was delicious. Atmosphere is awesome, your typical small town bar vibe. Chatted up some nice locals. Shout out I my new bud Steve. Wait staff was quick and attentive. Highly recommend to anybody looking for a good spot in Hersey for some food, drinks and a good time.

My husband and I went here for dinner; we never knew hersey had a restaurant lol we are NOT disappointed one bit. The food fit the bill and was phenomenal! We got the jalapeno popper cheese dip, fried pickle chips, he got the crispy chicken wrap, and I got the river monster burger with pepper jack cheese and jalapeno slices. YUM! the staff was friendly and attentive; the place ran very smoothly especially with there only being 1 cook, 1 bar tender, and 1 waitress/hostess and having about half the restaurant full of customers! This was a GREAT find!

My wife and I were delighted with the experience! The Gluten free menu was pure perfection. We will definitely be driving 2 hours many more times as our special spot to enjoy delicious food! My wife enjoyed a breaded fish sandwich, while I had a steak salad. My wife enjoyed the fish, and said the bun was perfect and soft/fluffy through and through. The salad was fresh, while the streak was prepared to perfection. To top it off, well, to start, we had gluten free fried mushrooms and splurged on fried onion rings! The owner came out personally to check on our meal. Let me tell you, the mushrooms and onion rings was worth the drive in itself! Thank you for the hospitality!
